Responsibilities

  • Actively identify and meet with land owners to negotiate lease agreements for soil farming operations
  • Utilize the Web Soil Survey to identify soil data and information on soil types located within potential spread sites
  • Coordinate onsite investigations with Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) inspectors to pull soil samples from landowner’s property to provide to the Soil Scientist for site suitability testing
  • Prepare soil farming permitting documents, draft compliance agreements, and complete post application reports to provide to the OCC
  • Remain up to date with OCC requirements for the entire permitting and post application process
  • Meet with land owners to provide updates and address issues or questions concerning operations during and after the completion of soil farming operations

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of related land experience, oil and gas experience preferred
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
  • Positive attitude and ability to work directly with land owners, field personnel and management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word
